A bit of background: I learned about The Teal Pumpkin Project last year October and honestly, between the two buckets I put out- one full of candy and chocolate, and the other full of crafts and toys, the crafts and toys were all gone except for one wooden craft owl! We were all amazed!
So this year, I am putting out all Halloween themed toys, crafts, games and so on because it’s perfect for children of all ages. Not all children can consume candy, sweets, and chocolate. Some children may have allergies and food sensitivities, so having non candy alternatives is perfect to make sure everyone is able to participate in this old time Fall holiday tradition.
