For our art lesson today, we made snakes 🐍 out of tissue paper squares. The lesson was inspired by our Get Into Art: Animals library book. I also gathered our books about reptiles- snakes specifically- so we can learn more about them and recreate a snake that’s their favorite with of course some modifications due to evolution (such as an anti-venom pouch in case the snake bit his friend by accident and needed to save its life 😅). We talked about the snakes and their bodies and what they ate 🐁 . This led my kids to inquire about the digestive process…so I’m off to find YouTube videos on that.
