Gameschooling: It is basically learning through playing games. Can you really learn through playing games? YES! But, it depends on the quality of the game.
When choosing games, I like to look for ones that are entertaining but also have value to it. I love educational games➕➖such as prime climb and sequence, games that encourage brain development 🧠like qbitz and rush hour, and jigsaw puzzles🧩like this Ocean puzzle from Melissa and Doug. I also try to incorporate a game or two in our actual school lessons 📚. When we are low on time due to busy days or even sick days, we play games to supplement our homeschool curriculum instead of doing bookwork. 😉

We also play a few games on a daily basis just for fun… It’s such an amazing way to learn! 🤩
